Artist Statement
Starving Artist emphasizes rhythm, a steady pulsing in the music and light, both of which feed and are fed by the energy of the dancers as they march through the space. The trajectory of the piece is blazing upward when suddenly, it all comes crashing down in an instant and stillness fills the air.
